Water is widely used in manufacturing and production, as cleaning, lubrication, dilution etc. These used wastewater often contain high amount of organic and inorganic materials, which does not meet the government requirement for safe discharge. Currently, industrial method of wastewater treatment includes the use of microorganisms to break down all the organic waste in untreated water, turning them into treated water. However, some of the materials are also broken down instead of reusing them for secondary market or reducing wastage.
